The 9-hole "Walk in the Park" course at the Emerald Woods Golf Course facility in Columbia Station, Ohio featured all the hallmarks of Ohio golf. It was the home of the Kula Open from 2000 thru 2011 and 2014 thru 2016. Designed by Richard McClain, the Walk in the Park golf course opened in 1993. This nine was the newest addition to Emerald Woods. Stately old trees and lovely gardens grew along the open, straight fairways. With a slightly shorter length, 'The Park' was a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon or a summer evening. The course closed in late 2017.
