WILLOW GROVE GOLF COURSE

The Beginning Years: 1931-1974

In July, 1931, [Louis W. Dingeldey] opened a private golf course near Solon, Ohio, a nine-hole course beautifully laid out, on which stands a comfortable club house amid attractive surroundings. The privileges of this course are ex-tended to the public for the nominal fee of fifty cents per day. During the summer months Mr. Dingeldey makes his home on the farm which he owns at the golf links.
